Let me tell you why we built this bottle. Last year, a tea farmer from Fujian visited our factory carrying a box of his prized Da Hong Pao. "My tea loses its aroma three months after packaging," he said. "Plastic makes it taste like chemicals, regular glass lets the light ruin it." That’s when we decided to create something better.
Our 37mm borosilicate glass bottle isn’t just another container – it’s a solution. We chose borosilicate because it handles temperature swings (you can set it next to a hot teapot without worrying) and blocks 99% of UV rays that break down tea’s flavor compounds. The bamboo lid? We tested 17 different woods before picking bamboo – it’s naturally antimicrobial, and when paired with our custom silicone seal, it keeps air out better than any metal lid we tried.
Unlike our vial bottles (great for single servings) or standard Glass Bottles, this one’s designed specifically for loose leaf teas that need to breathe just a little but stay fresh for months. It’s part of our family of specialty containers, including Health product bottles, but this one has a special place – it’s the only one our team uses at home for our own tea collections.
We had a tea shop in London test 50 bottles with their best-selling jasmine tea. After 6 months, 92% of customers said the tea tasted as fresh as the day it was packaged. Their old plastic containers? Only 38% fresh after 3 months. The difference? Our bamboo lid’s seal locks in volatile oils that make tea taste great.
A customer in Canada used to lose 15% of their glass bottles to breakage during shipping. With ours? 2%. We added a slight curve to the bottle’s shoulder – it’s barely noticeable, but it redirects impact force away from the neck (the weakest part of most glass containers).
Cheap glass has a metallic aftertaste that ruins delicate teas. Our borosilicate is so pure, we had a blind taste test with 100 tea experts – none could tell the difference between tea stored in our bottle vs. ceramic (the gold standard for tea storage).
The bamboo lid grows back in 3 years (not 30 like oak), and the glass is 100% recyclable. We even use water-based adhesives for the seal. One of our clients – a sustainable tea brand in Portland – saw a 12% sales jump after switching, just from marketing the eco-friendly packaging.
"We sell 20g sample sizes in these bottles – customers love being able to see the tea’s color, and the lid’s seal means they can try a little, then seal it up for later. Repeat purchases are up 30%." – Mei’s Tea House, San Francisco
Our health product bottles are great for liquids, but these work better for dried herbs. A client in Australia uses them for herbal tea blends – "The glass lets customers see the ingredients, which builds trust. We’ve reduced returns by 40%."
A tech company in Seoul ordered 500 bottles with their logo for client gifts – paired with locally sourced tea. "The unboxing video went viral on our socials. People kept asking where to buy the bottles, not just the tea!"
We don’t just hang certificates on the wall – we test products until they fail, then make them better:
"I was skeptical about paying more for borosilicate, but after 6 months, I’m a believer. My oolong tea still smells like it was just picked. The first time a customer said ‘this packaging feels expensive,’ I knew it was worth it."
— Lin, Owner of Mountain Tea Co., Vancouver
The customization team saved my launch. I sent a rough logo sketch, and they turned it into a perfect hot-stamped design. Shipment arrived 2 days early, which saved me from a marketing disaster. Will order 10x more next quarter."
— James, Founder of Urban Herbals, London
A1:It’s water-resistant, not waterproof. A little moisture (like washing) is fine, but don’t soak it. We include care cards with bulk orders explaining this to your customers – reduces confusion.
A2:We don’t recommend it. The high heat can warp the bamboo over time. Hand washing takes 30 seconds and keeps them looking new longer.
A3:Email us your tea type and typical serving size – our team will recommend 2-3 sizes. We’ll even send free samples so you can test before ordering bulk.
A4:We offer a 30-day return window for unused bottles – rare, but it happens. Only 2% of customers return them, usually because they ordered the wrong size.
A5:70% of our customers are small businesses. We started as a small factory ourselves – we get it. Our minimum order is 1 set for a reason.
